Content & Marketing Strategy at Galerie
As SVP of Content Strategy at Galerie, I helped shape a brand-new film platform from the ground up. My work spanned content and marketing strategy across editorial, email, social, events, and product — always with a focus on audience engagement and creative storytelling.
The platform featured essays, interviews and streaming films curated by cultural icons like Kim Gordon, Ethan Hawke and Taylor Russell. I collaborated closely with our product, design, and marketing teams to create experiences that felt smart, cinematic, and culturally tuned-in.
The Wim Wenders Experience
What began as a single interview evolved into a multi-platform tribute to one of cinema’s most inspiring directors. When Galerie secured a rare conversation with Wim Wenders, we expanded the moment into a broader multi-channel campaign that celebrated his perspective and delighted audiences.
The experience included companion video content, a live online event in partnership with the Wim Wenders Foundation, and a “Wisdom from Wim Wenders” Instagram carousel that quickly became one of our most-shared posts. As a final touch, we sent subscribers a limited-edition holiday card signed by Wenders himself — a fun gesture that resonated with our audience and aligned with the intimate tone of the campaign.
My role included:
Developing the multi-channel content strategy for the campaign
Collaborating with design, marketing, and partnerships to shape cohesive storytelling across web, social, and email
Leading creative direction for marketing, newsletter, social media and audience engagement strategies
The result was an immersive campaign that honored Wenders’ work while deepening Galerie’s relationship with its audience.
Galerie Live!
Galerie Live! was our space for real-time conversation, featuring virtual discussions, screenings, Q&As, and in-depth explorations of independent cinema and film culture. Whether going behind the scenes at Cannes or spotlighting emerging directors and costume designers, the series stayed focused on the craft and culture of cinema.
I led content strategy, brand identity, and promotional planning, collaborating closely with editorial, design, and marketing to shape the full experience.
Key contributions included:
Developing a content framework focused on craft (cinematographers, costume designers, directors), film appreciation (journalists, scholars, fans), and independent film culture and trends (festival coverage, new voices, shifting aesthetics)
Creating a visual and editorial identity for the series across email, social, and web
Planning and executing promotional strategies that emphasized timeliness, discoverability, and audience engagement
The result was a flexible, thoughtful format that responded to what was happening in the film world and offered space for reflection, learning, and connection.
Oscars 2025
In celebration of the 2025 Academy Awards, Galerie released a curated series of interviews and behind-the-scenes features with nominees. To maximize the campaign’s reach, I managed paid media efforts alongside the newsletter campaign, ensuring the content connected with the engaged audiences during awards season.
My role included:
Managing paid media campaigns across social platforms to amplify visibility
Overseeing newsletter campaign strategy and execution to engage subscribers
Coordinating timing and targeting to align with key awards moments
This focused approach helped Galerie maintain a strong presence during one of the film industry's most high-profile events.
Galerie’s TV Apps
In 2024, Galerie expanded its reach with the launch of dedicated apps on Apple TV and Roku, streaming a curated selection of independent films directly to viewers' living rooms. To support this milestone, I led the development of UX copy for the app's landing page, crafted targeted newsletter campaigns, and worked on public relations efforts to generate buzz.
My role included:
Developing UX copy for the TV app landing pages to ensure clarity and user engagement
Crafting and executing newsletter campaigns to inform and engage subscribers about the new platform
Collaborating on PR strategy to secure media coverage and build awareness around the launch
This multi-channel approach contributed to a successful launch, introducing Galerie's curated film offerings to a broader audience.
